Bio

Michael is currently Vice President Support Services for MidMichigan Health. He is responsible for the non-clinical support areas including: medical equipment, plant operations, security, safety, food service, housekeeping and construction at all MidMichigan Medical Centers. He has been in his current position for over ten years.

Prior to his position at the medical center, he was Assistant Vice President at a major medical center outside Baltimore, Maryland for eleven years. He also served in the U.S. Army for fourteen years. Mike holds a Master’s of Science in Technology Management and an MBA, both from the University of Maryland. He is also CHFM certified in facilities management. Mike lives in Midland with his wife, Annmarie and his four children.

Jason has held multiple positions at Nexteer, working in several plants at the Saginaw Site beginning as a front-line supervisor in the manufacturing work environment to his most recent assignment of Environmental, Health & Safety Manager. Jason grew up in Hemlock, Michigan where he worked on the family horse farm where his mother currently still resides.

He attended high school at Michigan Lutheran Seminary and attended Delta College where he earned an Associate degree in Applied Science. He then attended Northwood University in Midland, MI where he earned his Bachelor degree in business administration, majoring in Management. Jason began his college career majoring in Chemistry, where he worked at the former Dow Corning Auburn Site as a technical co-operative student in the advanced electronic materials development lab. He then transitioned into business where he worked as a co-operative student at the former Dow Chemical Company working in one of the chemical plants. He joined Nexteer Automotive in 2003 and has continued to lead improvements across the site while advancing his career.

Mark joined Three Rivers in 1994 and currently is the Executive Vice President and CFO, where he builds upon the finance team’s strengths, keeping them consistent with the company’s focus and commitment toward people and customer service. Mark leads the company’s strong financial policies and balance sheet, overseeing all financial functions and administration/financial systems. Mark is also a Director and Treasurer on Three Rivers Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Committee and Finance/Compensation Committee. Mark attended CMU, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and accounting.

Owner of Alloy Construction Service, Inc., Ronnie left a career in Physical Therapy in 1981 to join her husband Bob in founding the company and took over the helm upon his death in 1991. She jointly operates the firm located in Midland with her son Mike. Ronnie serves on various non-profit boards in the area and heads up Alloy’s implementation of formalized career exploration opportunities for high school students, as well as volunteers for The Rock Center for Youth Development.

Roger started his career in the industrial painting trade 28 years ago working his way through the ranks to a VP position. Roger then began a new role as the Coatings Operations Manager with National Industrial Shop Coatings. Roger has a very extensive background in the coatings industry from all types of abrasive blasting, fireproofing, tank linings, spray/brush/roll and trowel applied coatings. Roger also holds a NACE level 2 certification along with many other certifications. Roger has been married to his wife Shelly since 1988 and they share a daughter Nichole.

Alison graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1993. Following graduation, Alison joined Dow and moved to Midland, Michigan. Over her 25 year career with Dow, Alison held a variety of roles including Production and Improvement Engineer positions, Project Manufacturing Representative, Improvement Leader, and Production Leader. Alison is currently a Production Leader in Dow’s Silicones manufacturing operations. Alison lives in Midland with her husband, Dave Midkiff, and their two children.

Jeff was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan and started working at the Nexteer Automotive, former General Motors Steering Gear, in 1994 as a Facilities Maintenance Manager. Jeff joined Covenant HealthCare in November 2012 as the Director of Facilities. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University. Jeff has had past involvement in coaching for Southwest Little League in Bay City, Children’s Learning Center Dyslexia walk, and 18 years overseeing the Berger Family Endowed Scholarship for Saginaw Valley State University College of Business and Management.

John has more than 16 years of experience in the construction field. He began his career working at Fisher Contracting’s heavy diesel mechanic shop as a shop assistant at the age of 15. Since then, John has worked his way up to where he is today, Fisher Contracting’s Environmental Health and Safety Director. John oversees a team of Safety Representatives and is responsible for the safety program at Fisher Contracting.

Bryan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, a Master’s Degree in Industrial Safety, and an Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) all from the University of Minnesota. Bryan is also a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). He moved to Midland in 2006. Bryan has 25 years EH&S experience and has worked in EH&S throughout his career with Dow/Corteva. Bryan currently has responsibility for the Environmental, Health, Safety & Security performance of Corteva Michigan employees and contractors. Bryan lives in Midland with his wife, Karin and their two children, Weston and Evelyn.

Jim was born and raised in Southern Illinois and attended Murray State University where he obtained a B.S. degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 1997 and an OSH M.S. in 2019. Jim is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has 20+ years of professional experience within the field of Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS). He began his career with 3M Company in Nevada, MO as a Safety Engineer before transferring to Detroit, MI in 2002 where he worked as the EHS Supervisor. Jim has also worked at Cabot Corporation and Evergreen Solar both located in Midland as the EHS Manager at each respective location. When Evergreen Solar ceased operations in 2011 he went to work for Koch Industries as a Safety & Health Leader in their Fort Dodge, IA location and as a Regional Safety & Health Manager for their Georgia Pacific Division based out of Atlanta, GA. Jim was finally able to return home to Midland in 2013 when he began his role with CBRE first as the Global Safety Director for the Dow Chemical account and most recently as the CBRE America’s HSE Program Development & Operational Excellence Director. He currently is the Global Process Safety Competency Leader at Axalta Coatings Systems.

Ryan started at GE Insulation over 20 years ago, and is currently the Vice President. He is responsible for daily operations, overseeing/bidding/running commercial, industrial and chemical plant projects, hiring and placement. Ryan is active in COST and served as chairperson for two years. While being a part of GE Insulation, they have won National Safety Excellence and Merit awards in the category of Specialty Contractor for multiple years.
